Typical morning greeting at The Funny Farm: Dobby’s cute little face.
Maybe not so little
Dude, what are you sitting on? (Note the untouched watermelon.)

So, how sharp are those capybara teeth? This is his grain bowl. It usually has oatmeal, which he loves, and equine senior pellets, which he eats reluctantly. I push it into little piles that don’t touch each other, because he is a fussy toddler. Lately I have been adding a tiny pile of guinea pig food and now he won’t eat any of it.

I decided to go back to the 2-pile system and when he starts eating it again, I’ll sneak in just a teeny tiny spoonful of guinea pig food.

As I entered the aviary this morning, Jello the hen slipped out into the yard. She was disappointed when she later realized that meant foregoing the kitchen scraps everyone else gobbled up in her absence.
Peekaboo Kitty Hawk
I opened this cupboard out there to grab a bungee cord, and Kitty Hawk leaped in. He’s such a big help!
Rainfall yesterday was unexpected. As you can see, we got 1/2″ of peanut shells.
Might need to re-think the location
Dobby was unusually helpful this morning.
“Gate, schmate, I’m not budging.”
The mud must have felt cool on his feet. Wipe your feet off!
I brought around 3 planted buckets that have finally established enough that Dobby can munch on them.
He has been cranky every morning for days. Was it the penguin blanket? REALLY? Spiderman was well-received and Dobby was a Happy Boy this morning. There’s also a pink ballerina blanket under there.
“I can see that housekeeping has been in here again and straightened my blankets.”
The weather has been nice, so he has only a couple of light blankets.
“Can I get some privacy here?”
Before I had a chance to finish this blog post, Dick asked me to bring my camera out to the kitchen.
He did NOT wipe his feet.
Why is this rabbit smiling?
